Starting Friday Jan. 13, The Wild Flower Zen meditation at the Red Earth Centre will include a new study group and discussion instead of a weekly talk by Amy. The evening remains open to all.

The text we will begin with is: The Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma, translated by Red Pine (North Point Press) in English. A possible French version is  »Le traité de Bodhidharma », translated by Bernard Faure (Le Mail et Seuil), although it’s not clear whether the same texts are included in both English and French versions… We’ll see!

Reading is not required, but is encouraged. For the first session, we’ll focus on pages 3-7 in the English version, pages 68-72 in French version.

A partir de vendredi 13 janvier, une groupe d’étude et de discussion remplacera l’habituel enseignement de Amy au Red Earth Centre. La soirée restera ouverte à tout le monde.

Notre premier texte sera The Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma, traduit en anglais par Red Pine (North Point Press). Il existe une version française, Le traité de Bodhidharma, traduit par Bernard Faure (Le Mail et Le Seuil); cependant, il n’est pas certain que les mêmes textes figurent dans ces deux livres…. on verra!

La lecture du texte n’est pas obligatoire. Pour la première séance, on va étudier les pages 3-7 en anglais, pages 68-72 en français.
